When it comes to public healthcare infrastructure, speed, reliability, and cost-efficiency aren’t just nice to have — they’re essential. That’s exactly why AVAX SA, one of Greece’s most trusted construction companies, turned to Innovaland for a critical part of the new Stavros Niarchos Hospital in Komotini.
We were asked to deliver two large-scale Arch Steel Buildings to be used as medical equipment storage facilities — and we had just a few weeks to do it.
Here’s what happened.
The Challenge: Fast, Functional, and Built to Last
This wasn’t a small project. Each building needed to be:
- 20 meters wide
- 8 meters high
- 50 meters long
- With 6×5 meter door openings on both sides
- And 1,000m² of surface area
And it all had to be completed in less than two month, including:
- Design and Manufacture two 1000m2 buildings
- Delivery
- Full assembly
This wasn’t just about building storage — this was about supporting one of the most advanced hospital projects in Northern Greece, funded by the Stavros Niarchos Foundation (SNF). The goal: a high-tech, sustainable warehouses of the hospital designed to serve thousands in the region.
